Bee venom can be used for reducing inflammation and for pain relief in a variety of medical conditions.

A test sting is always given before any treatment commences to prevent the possibility of an allergic reaction.

People with auto-immune diseases like Arthritis and MS have a pathological immunity to bee venom and are unlikely to suffer any side effects.

Bee venom contains more than 40 pharmacologically active substances, many of which have yet to be studied. For centuries bee stings have been used to cure diseases such as Arthritis, Rheumatism, Gout, and many other painful joint conditions. Venom contains the protein 'Melittin' which stimulates Cortisol production from our adrenal glands. Cortisol is a natural anti-inflammatory and does not have the dangerous side effects of artificial steroids.Venom also contains 'Peptide 401' which is believed to be 100 times more powerful than cortico-steroids.

Currently bee venom is being used with some success to treat MS. The enzyme 'Hyaluronidase' dissolves scar tissue on the myelin sheath, improving synaptic transmission. Other benefits include improved circulation, better bladder control, less fatigue and a feeling of 'well-being'. Many other conditions have been successfully treated using bee venom including asthma, PMT, male impotence, psoriasis, epilepsy, ME, depression and some types of cancer.

Bee venom therapy is available by appointment

Painful areas are first located by applying firm pressure with a finger. These areas frequently relate to acupuncture points and when stings are applied to
them the benefit is enhanced. This technique is sometimes called ... 'bee acupuncture'.

The stings are applied to the painful areas provoking an immune response. The red and swollen weals demonstrate the vasodilatory effects of bee venom, drawing blood to the site of the stings and activating the body's healing process.
After 30 seconds or so the pain has gone and is replaced by a feeling of warmth.

Bee venom being used in the treatment of psoriasis.
The bee stings caused this patch of psoriasis to break
up and within a week it had disappeared completely.

There are many similar reports. A tea plantation
worker in
India
disturbed a wild bees nest and received
about 20 stings on his head. Within 3 months the psoriasis
on his scalp AND the arthritis in his knees had gone...
never to return!
